Suggestion for an MP4 Editor?

Hi folks. I've been trying to hunt down a nice, simple application for editting MP4 files. I'm basically looking for something like the old MyFlix XE app which was really good for cutting out commercials from TV programs. It didn't require projects, templates or any overhead - you just open your MPEG2, cut the portions you wanted to keep and then clicked a record button to output the editted version. Can anyone suggest a program similair to that for MP4 video?
