Guys, I'm pulling hair out here trying to figure out how to get some material to fit on a DVD-R. I have 3 divx (.avi) files that come to a combined 2.05 gigs. All I want to do is have them run consectively. No menus or anything fancy. I have tried downsampling using Ulead DVD Workshop 2.21 to convert and it doesnt fit after conversion. DivXToDVD hardly does anything. DVD Shrink can only downsample it to about 53%-54% max, and then that wont fit on a DVD-R either. I really dont care how bad the video quality is, I just want it all to fit on a DVD-R, and I know there's a way to do it. Can someone please tell me how I can do that? I'd really appreciate the help!

If quality is not needed just keep rerunning the file through DVD Shink until it will fit on a DVD5.

If you wanted to use the proper tools to do this, you would use a bitrate calculator. (In 'Tools' to the left. <<<.) Add the running time of all three videos together and input that to the calculator. That would tell you the bitrate needed to get them all on a DVD. You encode them with that setting with an encoder like TMPGEnc, then author them with a program like TMPGEnc DVD Author. They can be set to play consecutively or from a selection menu. I suspect you would end up with a video quality a little better than a VCD. Not that good of quality.
You will find out most of the All-in-One converters won't give you many options. The above method or similar will.
