wooohooo, i finally have an easy way to import and edit files with the .vro extension. i suspect many people have encountered the lack of software that could work with this type of file. vro is the video file format created by set top dvd recorders when recording to dvd-ram. my panasonic uses this format, and i'm sure there are others. i love the dvd-ram media, but on the rare occasion that i record a show and want to keep a copy, i had to jump through hoops to edit and save as mpeg. thank you Nero!!

Glad to hear it! I just came here today because I have a VRO from my Panasonic and can't work with it. Talk about coincidence. I already have a copy of Nero 7 on the way because the price was so good. Soon, I'll be all set!
Or I could just finalize the damn thing and go from there... Nah, lets do it the hard way. -
just got a panasonic e10, just got nero 7.
Pleased to hear comments re .vro files on nero 7.
Any chance of some guide/guidance on how to reauthor these .vro to dvd-r ?
nb I have a dvd rom drive with dvd ram reading capability.
