Looking to build new machine for only video editing (after effects, premier pro, photoshop, etc.) Intel Pentium 4/D or AMD ? I know historically it's been amd for gaming, but intel for video editing because of hyper threading, just wondering if that still holds true. Thanks.

You will want to look for benchmarks of the software you'll be using though. -
Thanks for the links. Looks like the x2 is the way to go...kinda figured that. Just with I could find a use for this 2gig ddr2 that I have laying around.
