    when i encode this video with TMPGenc, the video is squashed and when i play the VCD in my dvd player the black bars are alot smaller than when i play the orignal dvd. what do i need to change in tmpgenc? (it says "Widescreen Version: Presented in a "letterboxed" widescreen format preserving the 2.35:1 aspect ratio of its orignal theatrical exhibition. Enhanced for widescreen TVs. i think/know its something with the source aspect but what should i put it on?

    oh and if anyone knows how; i would like to know how to encode it in panasonic, i mean, i know how to pipe the data and encode but how should i go about getting the correct aspect ratio?
