Hi all, I know there's info on the site re: capturing in general and specific info on converting SWF files to video, but so far I've had no luck in this particular case.

I have a swf video that has a "click to start" intro that prevents proper conversion. Furthermore, it's protected so I can't remove the intro. I've tried doing a screen recording using Snagit, but it will only record the video, even though I have it set to record audio as well.

Does anyone have a workaround for this? Maybe a better screen capture app?

BTW, the resulting AVI will be just for my personal use, not distro. I want to add it to a collection of videos on a DVD that I coud then play, instead of having to switch to IE just to view the swf video.

    Thanks!

You can use Audacity to capture the sound. It's free and easy to use. You'll then have to sync the sound with the video. You can use any video editor for that.
