I have a DVD ripped for backup using DVDshirnk 2.3 (ripped by clikking the "Backup" button). The DVD will fit into one layer without any compression. When trying to burn it, using aone's software "Ultra DVD Burner" (purcased and paid for i.e. full version) I get the message "ERR: SRC move backwards, remultiplex input"... How can this be when the only thing I have done is using DVD shrink to fetch the video??? I dont wanna remux since this possible will destroy my menues.

Another DVD ripped by using the same procedure gives the message "Cant parce audio option 0ch"... (Note this is a NTSC that by Ultra will be converted to PAL). I have been using DVDshrink before without this failure, but this has been on another PC... Can this be a codec fail? Should I use another burning tool.

    Thanks in advance

If it fits to a DVD-5 without any compression you should just use DVDDecrypter in ISO mode to rip it and burn it.

Would ISO mode rip the DVD byte for byte so it will be an "exact" copy of the original, thus any reauthoring wont be necessary. How aboute ISO mode on DVD-9, if your DVD player/burner supports it???

Youst to clear up my mind a byte... When youst copying a DVD file by file by using copy and past i know that burning the wery same files back to an DVD±R wont work due to the nature of a DVD disk, but if doing this by using ISO mode, would you then overcome that problem.?

Remember, this is the newbie forum...

Ripping & burning in ISO mode with DVDDecrypter gives you a 1:1 copy.
