    does anyone own this dvd player, i want to turn off widescreen on some dvds, the zoom works but theres a little zoom icon in the corner and it doesnt seem to disapear please tell me how! thnx!

    DVD-Man,

    You can remove the zoom icon by pressing the title button on the remote control (or any other non-fuctioning button).

    I do not know how to "turn-off" the widescreen.
