    Hello all-
    *knashing teeth* I am still compiling the equipment I need to carry out this project, one which I am afraid I am doomed to fail at!
    A friend has a JVC HR-S9800U S-VHS Super VHS Editing VCR Deck. Is this the same famed HR-S9800U S-VHS or is it pretending to be one? If it is, I'm about to burgle his house. Or offer him a ridculous amout of money for it.
    Your continued advice would be greatly apprecitated.

    You're asking if a JVC HR-S9800U S-VHS is the same as a HR-S9800U S-VHS? I can't see any difference from here.
