    Hello,

    I made a post about this earlier. I just needed some more help. I am making a DVD of all clips of good hits and plays in hockey games, that i put on DVD, I want to put these clips to music. How would I just take clips from the DVD and make them a file. Someone mentioned DVD Shrink, How exactly would I do this. Would I have to put the exact time of the clip that I want to capture. Any Help would be greatly appreciated, as I am new at this.

    That's asking a little too much of Shrink.

    I would normally transfer the VOBs with the video I want to use from the DVDs to my hard drive then use a editor to cut out the clips I want. Then I would assemble them on a timeline in the editor and add the audio track. Then author and burn it.

    i actually put together my favorite KO's of 2005 from the UFC PPV's i ordered this year.. i recorded them all to dvd..

    the first thing you want to do is determine the length.. usually by the song you're doing..

    go through your dvd's and find the spots you want (the KO's) and try to eyeball how much footage you want to take to make it fit with the song..

    then opened the vob file i thought the KO was in (there isnt more than 5 vob files on a dvd) on the dvd with womble mpeg-vcr, then marked the start of where i wanted it to begin and the end, ouputted it to a file.. and repated the process through a couple of times per dvd.. until i had a buncha mpeg files..

    then merge the files with womble, and you've got one big fat KO filled mpeg..

    now from here you have to choose your output format.. i chose wmv because of file size limits on the host i used.. so i just used windows movie maker which was very easy..

    here is my end result;
