  1. i have .mkv file that contains OGG Vorbis audio. i downloaded MatroskaSplitter.ax and placed it to system32 folder.

i can play that video just fine, but i wanna know what decodes that OGG Vorbis audio. i don't have any separate decoders installed and i don't see any vorbis/ogg filters on my system with filtermanager programs.

when i play that .mkv file with BSPlayer and take a look what filters are in use, there's vorbis decoder listed and also that MatroskaSplitter.ax.

what is that vorbis decoder on my system or does MatroskaSplitter.ax contain that too?

Most people use core vorbis. It would say core vorbis though, not just vorbis decoder. Perhaps BSPlayer has one built in?

Also for an mkv file with vorbis audio you don't need an ogg splitter.
