    Hi,

    I try to encode a 16:9 widescreen quicktime movie to MPG 1, but whatever seetings I use the output does never have the right aspect ratio. My source footage is 512x288 but the playback of the MPG in MoviePlayer os 464x288. When i do a preview from within FFMPG with Mplayer it shoes the correct aspect.

    Any advice?

    Quicktime has a bug, you may use apple-J to force display aspect, or use VLC or Mplayer to play.
