I have a Nvidia 6800GT card that that I am trying to hook up to my projector for a home theatre setup. I'm using the S-video connection to connect to the projector, however, the images are very blurry. I can barely read any words when the windows desktop is showing. The DVD images aren't too bad but the TV images are terrible - also blurry. The projector works fine when I hook up a standalone DVD player using the S-video, so this is something to do with the card set-up.

    Any suggestions?

PS - Long term I am going to hook up the projector using a DVI to VGA Cable I have on order (i will assume that this will make it look better since I will be using the second display output instead of the S-video), however, my cable will not arrive until Jan and I want to show movies during the holidays.

  2. I don't own the Nvidia, But I know with my ATI card I have an option called enable video mode. which sharpens the picture coming out of the s-video connection. You may also want to make sure your resolution is set to 640x480 or 8008600. But I'm sure if your card has an S-out that that latest Nvida drivers and controls will have an option similar to the ATI card.
