unexpected speed up on m2v files while playing

Hi,
I encode targa sequences to dvd mpeg2 with Premiere dvd mpeg2 pal preset.I tried all high quality presets vbr, cbr... but same result, when i play the m2v file with mplayer, it plays fastly about end of the movie.
Forexample if movie is 10 sec,
it play the last 3 second in about 1 second.Exactly like i time stretched the part of the movie but i did not.
I tried to play with divxplayer but same result.

Sequences has not a problem.I searched alot but couldnt find anything with this problem, anyone has any idea? how can i solve this? Please help!

Playback of elementary streams is usually pretty quirky-jerky. You should multiplex the video with an audio stream to get a smoother playback. Some players like MediaPlayer Classic will let you drag and drop the video stream into it and it will automatically load up the audio stream(s) if they are in the same directory. Even still, that isn't the best way for playback, but it should roll much smoother than playing just the video.
