A couple of days ago I took delivery of a Sony RDR-HX510 DVD/HD recorder. So far I'm very impressed. The only slight niggle I have, is that when I view the TV through the recorder, the aspect ratio changes to 4:3. The TV is set for 16:9, everything on the recorder is set for 16:9. When I play recordings from the DVD or HD the apect ratio is 16:9, yet when playback is stopped, and the TV is viewed again (through the recorder), it reverts to 4:9. Everytime, I have to manually change it to 16:9 on the TV remote. Have I missed something obvious?
