Mpeg and AVI to DVD to make dvd with multi video files

1. I have avi. and mpeg files on my computer.
2. I want to be able to burn them to a dvd
3. I want to be able to burn multiple mpg and avi files to one dvd
4. When I use nero it converts a small mpeg or avi. file into large dvd files; only allowing me one at the most two movies on a dvd. And (S)VCD option only allows a burn to a CD-R/W
5. So I use TMPGEnc DVD Author too burn the files to a DVD. However I cant put the avi files that I have on the DVD without converting right?
6. I then convert them with WINAVICONVERTER which degrades the avi files like crazy.

Now for what I want (And Yes I have read guides)

5. I want to be able to burn my mpeg and avi files without reduction in quality. I want to be able to put the mpeg and avi files on one dvd together.
