Hi, I tried to burn a multisession data-dvd with nero 7, the rmvb files I burned at 1st try works and still works after I used the same unfull dvd and burned again. But the rmvb files I burned the 2nd time didnt work, they are shown in the dvd though, they just couldnt play. When I tried to play them with mcplayer, it says "cannot play....tender" something. So I can't burn multisession data dvds? Must I burn everything at once? Please help. Thanks in advance.
I'm using the EMPREX dvd writer 16x.
Now, I uninstalled Nero 7 and installed Nero 6.3 Demo. I found Nero 6 better, though I havent try to burn another multisession dvd yet.

Multi-session burning is usually dependant upon the software doing the burning. I've heard similar complaints about Nero 7 and multi-session. Sounds like it could be a Nero 7 issue, or you could have just had a bad burn. You will need to experiment a little to find out for sure. Use a RW disc and you won't be wasting discs.

I don't use multi-session myself, I use RW discs when I have small amounts of data that I want to save without wasting a full disc.

Keep in mind that each session eats up disc space as overhead, so on any multi-session disc, you will not get to use the full amount of disc space for data. The more sessions, the less usable space.
