i`ve read almoste every thread bout sound problems but nothing solved my problem

i`ve created an mpeg file with ulead moviestudio 9.
it doesn`t offer much as menu created is conserned so i though about trying dvd lab pro

first i`ve split the file to video and audio as many has writen here and then i imported it to dvdlab
i also transcoded the sound file to ac3
the video file is m2v 720X576 25fps pal

when i finished doing the menus and everythnig i compiled to dvd and then burned it to a philips dvd-rw using nero and the internal dvd write module

in both cases the dvd is without sound when played on a stand alone dvd.

    i`m complitely lost....(and frustrated)

    any suggestions???

    thanks

Did you encode to dual channel stereo?

On your dvd player check left only and right only speaker settings.

checking what Shadowmistress proposed i saw that the left channel is empty
if you add small brother who messes arround with the cables ...

the right channel cable was misplaced so the only sound source to the tv was the empty left channel...

i`ve spent the last two days for this ... i feel prety stupid...

    thanks for your help everyone
