  1. I have read most of the posts and as most of us know DVDDecrypter is no more, DVDShrink is no more, they can both still be used via ANYDVD but with doublelayer disc and dual burners and new protection schemes etc. What is one to do. The cost of Doublelayer disc's means that burning coasters is to expensive and to find out after one has burned that the jump or some other problem exists in the newly burned disc is prohibitive as well. DVDFAB only burns to VOB not ISO, Imgburn only burns ISO not VOB's, etc etc as the war to make copies of ones on disc goes on. Also if I want to edit out and delete some things from a disc I find that the best for me is DVDShrink, but there is no longer any support and it doesn't,,,,,, well is does rip dual layer, just one has to work around it, also DVDShrink will rip to ISO hence one can use IMGBurn to burn a dual layer. All that said, and I am not complaining, I admire and am grateful to the many people who have invested their time and efforts into writing these programs, but as time progresses DVDshrink and DVDdecrypter will eventually be rendered useless, so what is the best way to rip and burn a dual layer, DVDFab is nice but again, VOB format hence I burn with Nero, or if I want to edit and the rip is still going to be dual layer, I rip with DVDshrink to ISO and burn with ImgBurn. Please as one who is not versed in ripping and burning, but relies on these forums to teach me, whats the best way to rip, edit, and burn a dual layer disc. Please remember I am not brain savy so please the easier to do the better
Thanks to you all in advance

I Rip with DVD Fab Decrypter and burn with Nero. If I need to shrink it to fit on DVD5 I use shrink but in most cases the loss in quality means that a dual layer direct burn with nero is preferrable.

Why not just rip without Decrypter- ie, just use Windows copy function? Surely ROF, defender of all things MPAA is not circumventing copy protection?
