I went to the ATI website and D/L'd the recommended driver and MMC 7.2 for my AGP ATI AIW 128 Pro w/32MB and WinXP operating system; the driver had been the default XP ATI Rage Pro driver, and the new driver seemed to install and work fine. I installed the MMC 7.2 and that seemed to go OK; I even got the launchpad toolbar on the side of the screen. However, whenever I run the ATI TV application, the app locks up. At first it couldn't find the tuner; now it just locks up. I even uninstalled the MMC 7.2 and tried to access the tuner via Virtualdub, but Vdub locked up when it tried to access the tuner as well.
Is there some trick to getting video capture (let alone simple TV viewing) working under Windows XP using an AGP AIW 128 Pro?
Thanks,
Doug
