    Iv bin using svcd now for the last year or so with no problems at all, my hard drive packed up the other day so i had to do a fresh install, so im using the new version of svcd and when im convertin avi files i get this error....can anyone help please?

    Can you post your log file where this happens please?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    svcd is not commin up with the error, i get the windows error box.......


    ffmpeg.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close


    when i close the box svcd creates the dvd that it processed, usually around the 12% mark this error happens, it only does this wiv avi files, any other is fine.

    Is it all avi files or just one particular one?

    its any avi file that i try to convert, can i get hold of the version before the latest 1, gunna see if it does the same?
