Does anyone know how to go about this? I can convert a single VOB from PAL to NTSC but what if I want to convert the entire DVD (but I can do without menues etc.) What's the best (and easiest) way to make an NTSC DVD out of a PAL DVD? I have ripped the PAL video to a VIDEO_TS folder on my hard drive.

    Thanks!

You want to use the DGPulldown method.

Yes, I am in the learning proces of the DGPulldown method to convert 25 fps avi or PAL dvd into ntsc dvd with original 5.1 audio.

What isn't clear to me is: at the end with remuxing the end-resulting m2v file with the original AC3 stream, do I have to do this in eg. MuxMan and fill in the audo delay value or in TDA, that imo, has no delay correction?

I have a (source=avi) AC3 stream with 16 ms of delay, so I can't really check it on my pc. Is there a general rule to use/not use the delay?

    Thanks in advance

You will not notice a delay of 16ms anyway. I think the cut-off is roughly 100ms before you can see a difference.

    P.S.
You can also use AC3 Delay Corrector to adjust the delay
