I've been looking for an alternative to Nero's cover designer and I have yet to find a decent one. I would've thought there'd be an MS Publisher template or something. There's a few things about the Nero app I don't like, starting with the fact that it can't wordwrap its textboxes on the front of the cover for my goddamn titles; I don't like having to seperate to multiple lines by manually adding more textboxes. I just want generic covers that look decent without any fancy pictures and can be altered to accomodate varying movies quickly. I don't have any color ink and that stuff takes too goddamn long to print anyway.
p.s. I hate Photoshop. I'm not interested in anything to do with it.

Unfortunately, they are layer based eps files!
Well, get over it, as PHOTOSHOP is the tool to use for creating graphics.I hate Photoshop. I'm not interested in anything to do with it.
Why fight with MS's unfinished offerings? -
There are another programs which work with layers. Paint Shop Pro for example

I don't want to create graphics. I want plain text covers like Nero can make, with a better interface for editing the damn things.Originally Posted by dcsos
