Every time I open MPC, I get the message "Explorer has caused and error in Explorer.exe". Then computer freezes and have to reboot.

Have reinstalled WindowsME and still the same. Been using MPC for years and had no problelms.

All the other programs and players work fine. Is there any file that MPC uses that the other players don't?

Any suggestions besides reformatting the HD?

    jollyjohn, thanks for the reply.

I've been using the latest version of MPC for a week then yesterday it crashed. Tried older versions and they all crash.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.
