I have read that it is better to do video editing on a second hard drive rather than the one with the OS on it. Currently I have a computer with a 40Gb drive with the OS on it and a second 160gb for video stuff.

I'm going to be getting a new computer soon, and most if not all the new computers I see now have 200+ Serial ATA hard drives in them.

    Actual Purpose for post:
Would I still be able to install my 160GB Internal EIDE Hard Drive into the new computer or am I out of luck and have to purchase an entirely new Serial ATA hard to use as my second drive?

If you have a spare EIDE port of your motherboard for your new PC, you can install the EIDE Hard Drive.
