    Does anyone have any recommendations for an easy to use standalone vhs to dvd recorder?

    It is a gift for someone older who only wants an easy way to transfer vhs to dvd.

    All you really need is this gadget that goes between your VCR and DVD recorder and away you go.

    I just purchased a JVC DR-MV5S dvd recorder/vhs combo. I will try it out and post my results. I think I will be happy.

    If commercial VHS, your JVC combo will most likely not copy very many
