I just got a new NEC 3550A burner and i tried burning my first Verbatim DVD+r DL disk. I was successful however i could not bitset the disk to DVD-ROM. I am using 1.05 Firmware and Imgburn to burn. Before i started the burn i went to the booktype setting in Imgburn, clicked on the NEC tab and chose DVD+rDL MEDIA under the "change for" setting, then on the bottom i selected "DVD-ROM". i get a window that pops up that says succsess however whe its time to burn the booktype still says DVD+R DL. im not sure what exactly im doing wrong. I should note that i am also using the hacked firmware created by Liggy and Dee from cdfreaks. it is availible at http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/3550/ . If anyone has any suggesstion i would really appreciate it. thanks!
