    I am making a series dvd set. I started by using Mydvd(trash) and am now trying TDA. Is it possible to take a menu screen template from Mydvd and use it in TDA somehow?

    If you created the menu using your own stills then oyu can reuse these in TDA, but templates from one package generally aren't useable in other packages. Yoy could look at generating the menu in MyDVD, then using one of the ripping tools to extract the components of the menu for reuse, but this would involve multiple compressions and lower the quality.

    Simpler to start again.
