  1. Hello, knowledge needed please. I have a portable 300gb hard drive on which I have a number of video/audio files. My ambition is to play them on my TV which is in a different room. Please could anyone inform me on what type of leads I need? Thank you for reading this. Mike

D-Link Media Player works for me.

  3. Thank you for such a quick response! I was thinking (maybe?) I could plug a cable into the back of my PC S Composite and audio (three cables in all)which would in turn become a scart converter which at the other end I would have a scart lead to plug into the TV? I forgot to mention I plug the external H/D into my PC via USB and look at the files and if necessary play them on my monitor. As I said I would really like to just lay a simple cable/s to my digital TV Many thanks, Mike

If your video card has a TV Out (S-Video) you can just run a direct S-Video Line. Depending on the distance you may find a wireless solution cheaper though.
