Hey Everyone,
I'm trying to record some of my old VHS tapes onto DVD, but I'm having a few problems capturing using PCTV 100e - the USB version, and I'm having few problems with my capture.
#1 - The picture is not very sharp - in fact, it looks like it has a diagonol pattern embedded into the picture.
#2 - The colors seem faded as compared to the original source material.
#3 - I had severe interlacing problems when I burned my capture footage onto dvd - it appeared as if my movie was "out of phase".
I performed my capture using Pinnacle Studio Version 9, but then I edited and did a mpeg2 prerender using Video Vegas. The DVD project was authored using DVD Architect.
Any advice on how to improve the quality of my capture would be greatly appreciated.
