    I grew up in Vancouver... Vancouver has great summers but I'll take the cold over the rain Vancouver gets through the winter...

    Where I'm from we had a big blizzard of "79" It was weird the way the wind made drifts. From peak of house to peak of the next and then between the next two grass peeking through the light dusting on the ground. Snow doughnuts too, drifts that were just that, whipped and shaped by the wind they lookl like 10' diameter doughnuts!

    it is the blue mountains ... its not that tall --but not too bad .

    the caves are just in that area there ...

    Is that somewhere near Bridgeland Avenue (near Yorkedale subway station) ? I spent a year there in '81.

    Really? I've been up that way.Havnt seen peaks like that. Only been near Tailsman resort however.

    that is farther south (actual picture just below of talsman) .. but a nice area in the beaver vally near kimberly .. near devils glen or so i guess ..





    i'm farther north -- here are other views where you can see the cliffs a bit better -- you may be thinking the first pic above that it just keeps going up and up -- but that not true ... not like out west
