  1. I have 13 hdtv quality xvids .avi's each around 350mb. I'm trying to figure out the best way for me to convert them to dvd, and burn them so I can watch them on my dvd player.

    I'm thinking of adding the 13 avi's as assest than just doing autofit, with 2 passes. I tried this one time with 9 avi's but the program errored. I just want to know whats the best way to go about this, should I split the dvds up, or what? The reason I want them on one dvd is that its a tv show, but 2 dvds wont be a hassle.

    Thanks in advance.

    So the same applies: For DVD5, keeping the bitrate at least 3000kbs is recommended. i.e 3 hours of material. That said, you may be happy with the quality with more than 3 hours...
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

  3. I chucked 5 hours worth of Xvid's onto a DVD-R. Yeah the quality does suffer, but it was only TV episodes so quite disposable. I could really do with a DivX/Xvid compatible DVD player!

  4. yeah 4 eps for good quality kinda sucks. I put 5 and it came out looking ok, but its a hdtv quality xvid now it looks like crap.

    Anyway, im having problems getting to the reg area to get the new version of svcd2dvd. the stupid captcha doesnt work correctly, you should put those mp3 things that say it, im 100% im putting the correct captcha image and its still returning errors ;[
