  1. Is it possible to convert a .Avi file to .Avi again, but this time with chapters,
i tried now converting divx to divx merging the subtitles into the video,
i want to know if it's possible to divide the file into chapters.

The VirtuaDubMod can divide into chapters but it needs the "chapter
file .txt" if i want to import a default set of chapters of the file, i know that
i can do this with DVDlab pro, but i want to know if there is a program
that can do this, another program. Simpler one.

Divx Converter should be able to.

No, it doesnt, and Divx chapters from what Im reading are not the "same" in function as DVD chapters, so its really a waste of effort to try and do anything similar.

I seem to recall there's a tool with a very Japanese sounding name, that does this very thing... But the name escapes me at this time.
