My problem was it wouldnt finalize id go into reset mode and I think also it wouldnt record on the media, too sometimes. It was making the discs worthless. Its safe to say the laser was dirty. So picked up a cleaning disc at Circuit city and ran it a few times and it ended up working. Pretty much any media I used in the drm100 would work. Maxell, tdk, sony, verbatim. I wouldnt suggest you put any blank disc in your machine until you get one of these dry cleaning discs and run it through a couple of times. Do it. You shouldnt have any problems after. I havent.

Yeah my problem is way different then that. Thanks for the suggestion though. I appreciate that. That's why I post here and no where else because of the ACTUAL help from people.

Well, I was again able to record for 2+ hours. I left the unit on afterwards and about 6 hours later the unit went into LOADING and blinking by itself. I tested this today. Usually I would turn off the unit after recording and it would hit snow and go into Loading. So I really doubt it's a media problem.

No its not. You're having issues with your Recorder. Similar to mine.
You shouldnt waste another disc, you're burning the dough you spent.
Get a lens cleaning disc and your problem should go away.
