64 bit windows

does svcd 2 work on the windows 64 bit because I cant get it to work at all

Several people have said that they have it working on 64bit. Maybe someone could post the details of a working setup?

I have got it to work now on my windows 64 bit ,,also the nere tool does not work on 64 bit

Ijust re install and it worked

just to let you know that Ihave got nero tool to work on the 64 bit windows ,just done a new install with the nero nero tool and svcd 2 also

After upgrading to 64bit it's a good idea to reinstall most of your applications. Alot of reported problems have been solved by reinstalling. Both Apps work fine on my machine.

Ah I see. We were talking about upgrading 32bit OS to 64 bit OS - not a vanilla 64bit OS install?

Well in that case then i agree with ROF: reinstall everything!

so i take it if you do a clean install of xp 64 then svcd2dvd will work

It would seem so. Or upgrade to 64 bit - then reinstall svcd2dvd...

You do realize that if the applications are still 32-bit applications - they won't necessarily give you the highest throughput that a native 64-bit application would give?
