I've seen alot about Paypal in other forums... two forums I belong to, no longer accept Paypal... Way too many problems, and they hijack funds that are deposited into some accounts...and say they shut down the forums accounts for any of a variety of reasons.. AND KEEP THE MONEY!!! Paypal is bad news...I'm gonna donate to this place again in the next week, but I should wish the admin here could find another means to receive funds...

Anyway ss30 has now got the software up & running, the likely cause was a mailserver/isp issue.

    Problem solved.

Not the case at ALL with Paypal.
I run a porn site and was using Paypal for the members payment, CLEARLY against their T.O.S agreement, well needless to say they found out, and closed my account.

I called them and gave them the "I did not know" story and they told me I would get the fund that was in there in a month or two. I received a check in the mail like 8 weeks later for the amount I had in my account before it was closed. That amount was over 1,700.00.

If in fact this statment that I quoted above was true, they surely would have kept this money!

  11. They also gave Newzbin.com grief, claiming they hosted copyrighted material, which of course they don't , so Newzbin dropped them as a payment method.
But I think that for the average consumer, it is still a convenient , fast way to exchange $$ for goods/services over the net.

That's not why they caught grief, it was because you could search for porn related .nzb files. That's why.......
You can not have ANY adult related material or even point to adult related material at all if you are going to use Paypal.

It had nothing to do with copyrighted material, because I also run a warez forum and use Paypal for my memberships and they have inspected my site and have no problem with it at all because we do not host it we just point the user to where they can get it.
As you know warez is nothing but copyrighted material

  13. ah, so, you are correct. Shucks Paypal must be losing out on tons of transaction fees but not allowing adult users to pay for their pRon via them.

Hmm never knew that, but wondered why no adult sites never used them, guess I could have looked into it but my 1 year old keeps me busy.
