Hi guys.
After downloading the Superman Returns Trailer, "teaser_fullscreen.mov"
I cannot open it, even though the icon shows up associated. I get an
error message like, "format not supported".
I thought, since I have the QTreader.vfp plugin for TMPGenc, that
I could view it, by (after) re-enocding it to MPEG format.. but it is
not working. TMPGenc is not reading this format.
Did quicktime change it's format or what ?
I dont' want to have to D/L another huge install app again for quicktime.
Anybody have an *alternative" suggestion to opening this .mov format,
or even to re-encode it through other means ??
specs:
OS: win98
Really appreciate.. thanks.

If its mov that plagues you , go here and grab super
http://super.free.free.fr/home.html
Its what I use to convert all mov files I download .
You can even fiddle with outputs if you wish , just remmember , anything upscaled , starts looking like rubbish , but that be your choice .
