  1. I recently made a DVD but I messed up a lot of the menu stuff and it looks ridiculous. I want to start over but I lost the original files (burned old files to a data disc and now it doesn't work). Is it possible to get just the video files from the DVD? I hope there is a wonder program out there that can do this. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

You can probably do it with DVD Decrypter. Select File Mode and just the main movie.

    I'd recommend Isobuster also

if you use DVDDecrypter make sure you adjust the check error settings to ignore it automatically after so many tries

there is another commercial program but I can't recall the name (forum search won't work ATM) but it's got rescue in the name

Yep, i have used IsoBuster quite a few times to get dvd files from a disc that absolutely nothing else would! dvd-ram disc's, dvd disc's that could not be finalized and would not even be read by anything else as having files on it, the drive would even show it as an empty disc, open up IsoBuster, there thay are, ect. ect. ect.
    Great tool!!!

Seem to be having problems getting replies to post, and the main page even after refreshing shows this thread as only having 2 replies

I don't see anywhere where the OP mentions that the disc is unreadable; just that he buggered up the menu and needs to original MPEG files back. If this is the only problem, then VOB2MPG, TMPGEnc DVD Author, Rejig or VOBEdit can all help, with the first two creating MPEG files, whilst the latter two demux back to elementary streams.
    If in doubt, Google it.
