  1. Hello i have been trying to find some help on adding subtitles to a vcd (it really a kvcd) , Anyway all the guides i could find are for using an avi as source and then econde to mpeg . But if i already have an mpeg source ( bin/cue files or the dat file) , whats is the fastest way to add subtitles ?,
    Something like mpeg1 to mpeg1+subs (switchable or not )

    use avisynth with textsub filter and frameserve to an encoder.
    or
    if you want switchable that works on your computer just use a software player that can load subs or use ffdshow,vobsub. it wont work on vcd.

  3. Sorry for the double post, i didnt know wich sub-forum was the correct one, im looking to play this on an standalone dvd player
    Is there anyway to add the subtitles without re-encoding ? ( my computer isnt really that fast :S , will take long long time )

    Oh and also in the computer i loaded the dat file and the subs using mplayer for windows and it works like a charm.
