Problem With DVD to DivX

I am trying to convert a DVD to Divx using this guide https://www.videohelp.com/sefy/?id=direct8.html when i get to the final stage a press go for it i get a window pop up saying 'Dont save the divx un a directory which has a unnatural space (i.e:", instead of a natural dos space [i.e:'_') in it'

Does anyone know what this is or what im doing wrong?

IFAIK, EasyDivX is no longer maintained - I suggest you look at avi.net or AutoGK - both are actually dead easy to use for DVD to AVI

sounds like your choice of an output name is causing an issue. If all else fails, just call it "a" or whatever, and rename it latter.
