Hello,
I am doing a short film on Final Cut and I need to zoom in on a specific part of a still image. The image is of the UK and I need to zoom in on the London area.
The image is a basic 2 colour outline of the UK (blue water, green land). London is therefore in the bottom right of the screen. I want the image to stay static for 1 second, then have the view slowly zoom in on the london area. The zoom will last for approx 3 seconds and the final frame will be of the whole screen green (as all you can see is the land).
Can someone explain how I can mark London on the map so that Final Cut will zoom in on that specific part of the map?
Thanks alot!

No idea on Final Cut, but I think the 3rd sample movie in the Photo to Movie gallery shows kinda what you're looking for. Photo to Movie can export to a Final Cut compatible format, tho'.

Drag the picture into the timeline, make sure it is the desired length. Change over to view Wireframe and set a keyframe. Advance the time forward as much as you want, drag the corner to expand the size of the picture and set a new keyframe. Go back to normal view.
