I ripped my Star Wars Episode IV DVD to a VOB (Video_TS) folder. I used ffmpegx to play one of the VOB files. Unfortunately, the intro screen starts to display in multiple languages. How do I rip to only get English and ignore the others?

I assume by display you mean Closed Captions?
Go back to MTR, re-rip in Movie Only Mode,
select English Language Track only,
and English Captions at the bottom only."Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."
