    I have a sony dru700a right now and it will only work with verbatim dl discs which are almost $4 a disc. Does anyone know of a decent burner that will work with ritek discs? I was looking at lite on 1693 or the shuttle cr40 burner. While my sony has been very dependable, it is very picky with which discs it will write to.

    It's not the burner ... it's the discs.
    RITEK DL discs pretty much suck in any burner.

    I had great results with DL media with this media code: CMC MAG.D01
