I have some older (2-3 years) windows media audio/video files that I cannot play anymore. They worked beautifully in years past but now I when I try to play the file via windows media player I receive a message stating that an audio codec is needed to play the file and to check the web to see if it is available. I have tried that route to no avail. I have also tried a series of other video players to see if that works, the only success I have had is with RealPlayer which displays the video but again no audio. Anybody else run into this or know what I can do!? thanks.
