  1. I have some AVIs that I want to convert to VCD. I put the VCDs (mpeg) on DVD to get more episodes on one DVD. I normally use TMPGenc to convert, which I love, but with these AVIs I have a problem. The video looks like it's been cut into horizontal strips but the strips don't line up. I'm not sure if that explanation makes sense or not but it makes the vidoe picture unviewable.

I tried to us Virtualldub to see if there was a frame problem but when I look even AVI frames are even messed up looking on Virtualdub. But when I watch the AVI on any video player the video is perfectly clear.

Is there any way to fix this or am I screwed? If I can't fix it is there an authoring program that would allow me to put both the working mpegs and the AVIs on one DVD. I don't think there is but what do I know?

Thanks! I appreciate any kind of help. (Even a "sucks to be you" would at least lighten up the situation) Thanks.

Use thelatest version of g-spot to confirm what format the video and audio is, and post a screen shot if you can as well.
