  1. I always use TFM for converting and I am going to give subtitles a go. I have my avi and the *.srt file. I want the subtitles to be selectable. This is all very easy to setup, but i was just wondering because I use dvd lab to author will a seperate subtitle file be created which i can then load into DVDLab? Also is colour primary the text colour and colour secordary the background colour ?
    Any info would be great.

    Cheers Jim

If you have a .srt file, you're ready to go, as DVD-Lab Pro can import .srt subtitles IIRC. No need to let it be processed by TFM.

Never created a subtitles menu (a waste of space and effort, since it's a pretty simple operation with the subtitles button on my remote) but I don't think it can be that difficult...

Don't really know what subtitle formats DVD-Lab Pro imports. Try to import it - it won't hurt!
Anyway, if it's just a sub (text based .sub, not "*.sub + *.idx") it can be converted to .srt
