    EyeTV records shows from DVB-T in the original encoding. This requires quite a lot of space per film, is there a way to compress these mpgs further before burning? I have DVD2OneX.

    No, not with DVD2One.

    You could add all of these to Toast and save out a DVD disc image, then use Toast again to compress the disc image to fit onto a single DVD.
