OK, well, I've given up on any of the 9.1, 9.2 (or is it 9.3, that's what it shows up as in my Control Panel add/remove programs list). I can't install 9.2 unless I've got a previous version installed. I did successfully capture Friday night's basketball game with 9.6, but then it locked up my entire computer tonight on another capture.

Also, on 9.2/9.6/9.8, it takes forever to switch between connectors, and switching channels on my cable connection takes longer than it should.

With 8.8, everything is real quick and smooth. I can fly through channels, capturing video starts right away, it ends smoothly, etc. The only problem is that I only have 6 resolutions available on 8.8. I need at least 352X480. I was reading your site, and your ATI MMC examples said they were using MMC 8.X for the examples, but I don't have half of the resolutions you list when I install it.

I'd really love to get this working because I like the features that MMC includes. I like being able to pause my capture, saves time cutting the commercials, plus the picture is large and clear. If it were simply a matter of capturing the video, I wouldn't have a problem doing it with Ulead VS 9 (which works like a charm), but the display isn't that good. I'd like to be able to enjoy watching the games as well in a large, clear format.

I promise I'll quit bothering you after I get this worked out. :>) Hopefully, ATI will write something soon that isn't a worthless piece of crap.

Thanks a ton for the response, you've been a lot of help. And thanks in advance to anyone else that can shed some light.

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't ask me what the same hell I was doing wrong. I now have 8.8 installed and it gives me all my formats and resolutions. Don't ask me why I ever changed away from this version either.
    Hell yes.
PS, I guess I should apologize to ATI. It was my fault, but still. You would think that getting the latest drivers and software from their site and installing them would solve any and all problems.
Hell, I might even try to get the remote working again now. I gave up on it a LONG time ago.
