Heres the scenario
I bought a dvd, turns out the main movie doesnt had malay subtitle i want (others included though, eng, chi etc)
Copied it using dvdecrypter. Cut,edit, join using videoredo.
there are 2 type of file,
1-main movie
Video: MPEG2 Video 720x480 (16:9) 29.97fps [Video]
Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch 448Kbps [AC3]
2-extra scene
Video: MPEG2 Video 720x480 (16:9) 29.97fps [Video]
Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch 192Kbps [AC3]
ive join both these type of file, so the movie play with extra scenes.
After joining, i use subtitle workshop for subtitling.
Before edit/join = FPS shows 29.97
After edit/join =FPS shows 101760794361856
Is this normal? is it ok after later on converting it to dvd?

You could have just loaded the two movies into something like DVD Lab Pro and set them to play in order, or add a simple (or complex) menu. You could also add the subtitles there.
