Hi Major
I was playing around with Sorenson Squeeze the other day and I noticed 2 features that I think would be great to have in FFmpegX:
1. When entering the target framerate, you could select "2:1" or "3:1" in addition to just typing the number.
That way you can make a preset that changes the framerate to 1/2 or 1/3 of the original, regardless of the original framerate. As it is now, you have to create a preset for each variation.
2. When entering the target size, you could set maximum width and height and tick a box called "maintain aspect ratio".
This would reduce the screensize to the maximum width or height possible without changing the aspect ratio. So if for example your target was a size of 320x208 pixels, your would get either 320 pixels wide or 208 pixels high (depending on the aspect ratio), ensuring that you utilize the screen space optimal without changing the aspect ratio.
Again, this would allow you to make 1 preset that would cope with a lot of different input formats, changing them all to fit a certain target format.
cheers
Peter
